It's my eldest niece 15th birthday on Dec 8th. However, she was out of town and returned only today. Being the busy aunt, I couldn't get her a present or a cake on time. This did not dampened my spirits to give her a surprise though.
So I looked through my kitchen and whipped up some cupcakes for her instead. And yes, I managed to finish on time. As she lives with my mum and they are just two storeys above me, my girls and I surprised her with the cuppies and sang her a birthday song, the moment she reached home.
I'm glad she liked it and present is on the way....
