My colleagues and I have been putting off our yearly outing. We've been planning since August but it was cancelled to our tight schedule. So here we were, at last. We went to Carousel for hi-tea. Filled our tummy till it dropped out of our pants. We were overdosed by the dessert. Not forgetting laughter. We were laughing non stop that it made our cheeks hurt.... Well, not really....
These people are the best people to spend your time with. As you can see, we are all of different ethnic background and not forgetting the age gap is quite wide. The eldest being 60 years and the youngest 29. Despite the differences, we always have fun together. It's like family. We could talk about our problems, gossip about the latest thing happening around us, could cooperate to get a project done and most importantly, we are there for each other in bad or good times. This was one of the crazy pictures that we took while goofing around during the outing...
After hi-tea, we went for a karaoke session. The karaoke session turned out fine which was to our surprise. Most of us are not the singer materials and you can never hear us sing in public. Well, we sing for the children in class but definitely not for adults. However, almost everyone sang or should I say "croaked" through our teeth... The ears have to be checked but we did have sooooOOOoooo much fun..
We were singing our last song.... Money, money, money by ABBA. We just had to stand, reminiscing the past... Well, we had to perform this song during our Teacher's Day Dinner... We won the 1st prize during the dinner... Looks very patriotic, right.... The night ended slightly after 9pm and one of us had to be hospitalised.... Poor girl... She had a terrible episode of giddy spell that she couldn't walk... I think we had toooOOooo much to laugh about, that's why... My friends fine, though....
