It's the 1st day of Eid today... Eversince the birth of my two girls, they bring about a new and meaningful height to Eid. I always look forward to Eid.. This year, my 1st born fasted a good 26 days... Good job, girl!!
I've always liked dressing alike or at least the same colour for the family on 1st day of Eid... It's the feeling of togetherness that made it feel right... Also, the husband has no complains.... So this year, red is the colour, chosen by non other than my better half...
The norm, a visit to my parent's, then my in-laws, followed by my grandma's and the list goes on... Visiting goes through the wee hours of the night, well, that is if we don't have to go to work the next day...
Happiest people will be the children... Loads of money to collect... Me!! I'm always looking forward to meet up with my cuzins... Not forgetting the good food that my aunts prepared for us when we visit them.... YUMMM!!!
This year's visiting was a rush, though.. The husband has to serve the country as he will be serving his reservist for three weeks starting next Tuesday onwards... Important houses to be visited by this coming weekend and the rest will be brought forward to next year...So cuzins, pardon me if I didn't get to your place this year... I'll be there next year, insyaAllah...
