Hand Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD)

Hand Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) is back.

I realised that HFMD normally occurs in the first half of the year. This is usually the time when a lot of children are diagnosed with it.

This time round, apart from routine checks in school, we seriously sent home a lot of children who has symptoms. A little ulcer on the mouth might be the normal ulcers that the children always get. However, we did not take any chances. They were sent home for that little ulcer.
