It was Saturday and my hubby was on one of his off days. Our initial plan was to stay at home and do some spring cleaning. It's been ages since we last spring cleaned our home. Before dusk, we were bored and needed to go out very badly. Got ourselves ready and off we go... to JB.
My parents bought a house in JB for the family's use. My siblings and I mostly spend our holidays there and most of our weekends, too. During weekdays, when my hubby's not at work, we often hideaway to JB and rest. Occasionally, we will have family gatherings there, too. The grandchildren simply love the environment and would cry when it's time to go back to Singapore. Either me or my siblings will take turns to unwind in the cosy home.
As for me and hubby, we love being there, too. It's a great place to unwind. We just rest and relax, bowled, shopping, and needless to say eat. Food's a galore and not to mention cheap.
As soon as we reached JB, we had our dinner of steam grouper fish, broccoli with scallops, oat prawns and battered squids. Since it was already late after the car wash, we headed to my parents JB home and went straight to la la land. Next day, we headed for more shopping at one of the malls and went straight home to Singapore...
